DESCRIPTION

· The 74HC423 and 74HCT423 are high-speed Si-gate CMOS devices, compatible with LSTTL and compliant with JEDEC standard no. 7A.

· These dual retriggerable monostable multivibrators feature two methods for output pulse width control: through external resistor and capacitor selection, and by retriggering inputs.

· They include a reset function that forces the output LOW and inhibits triggering when activated.

· Schmitt trigger inputs enhance tolerance to slow input transitions.

FEATURES

· DC triggered from active HIGH or LOW inputs.

· Capable of producing very long pulses with up to 100% duty factor through retriggering.

· Direct reset capability to terminate output pulses.

· Schmitt-trigger action on all inputs except reset.

· ESD protection exceeds 2000 V (HBM) and 200 V (MM).

· Operational temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C and -40°C to +125°C.
