DESCRIPTION
· The 74HC423 and 74HCT423 are high-speed Si-gate CMOS devices compatible with LSTTL, compliant with JEDEC standard no. 7A.
· These dual retriggerable monostable multivibrators feature reset functionality and two methods for output pulse width control.
· Pulse width is determined by external resistor and capacitor selection, and can be extended by retriggering inputs nA or nB.
· The reset input (nRD) forces outputs to specific states and inhibits triggering.
· Inputs nA and nB have Schmitt trigger action for tolerance to slow input transitions.
FEATURES
· DC triggered from active HIGH or LOW inputs.
· Retriggerable for long pulses up to 100% duty factor.
· Direct reset terminates output pulse.
· Schmitt-trigger action on all inputs except reset.
· Complies with JEDEC standard no. 7A.
· ESD protection: HBM exceeds 2000 V, MM exceeds 200 V.
· Operating temperature range: -40°C to +85°C and -40°C to +125°C.
