DESCRIPTION

· The 74VHCT257A is a high-speed CMOS QUAD 2-CHANNEL MULTIPLEXER (3-STATE) using sub-micron silicon gate and double-layer metal wiring C2MOS technology.

· It consists of four independent 2-channel multiplexers with common SELECT and ENABLE INPUT (OE).

· The device is non-inverting; outputs become high impedance when ENABLE INPUT is "High".

· It selects "A" data when SELECT INPUT is "Low" and "B" data when SELECT INPUT is "High".

· Supports power down protection and accepts 0 to 7V on inputs regardless of supply voltage.

· Suitable for interfacing 5V to 3V systems with TTL threshold inputs.

· Features protection circuits against static discharge with 2KV ESD immunity.
