Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The A3909 is a dual full bridge motor driver designed for 12 V medium power applications.
· It operates within a power supply range of 4 to 18 V and can handle up to 1 A per phase.
· Outputs can be paralleled for higher amperage in single DC motor applications.
· Four inputs (IN1 to IN4) control DC motors in various modes or bipolar stepper motors in full- and half-step modes.
· Available in 10-pin MSOP (LY) and SSOP (LN) packages, both lead-free with 100% matte-tin leadframe plating.



FEATURES

· Low RDS(on) outputs for efficient operation.
· Capable of driving two DC motors or a single stepper motor.
· Features a low power standby (Sleep) mode with zero current drain.
· Includes thermal shutdown and overcurrent protection.
· Supports parallel operation for up to 1.8 A in single DC motor applications.

· Ideal for applications requiring forward, reverse, brake, and coast modes in DC motors.
