DESCRIPTION

· The AAT3681A is a single-cell lithium-ion/polymer battery charger IC.

· It operates from a DC power source or USB port with an input voltage up to 7.5V.

· It regulates battery charge voltage and current for 4.2V (4.375V option) cells.

· Charging current can be set up to 500mA via an external resistor.

· It monitors battery charge state and shuts down in case of over-voltage, short-circuit, or over-temperature.

· It features a status monitor output pin for LED indication.

· Available in an 8-pin SC70JW package, operating from -40°C to +85°C.
