DESCRIPTION

· The ADC08351 is an 8-bit, 42MSPS, low-power A/D converter with a single +3V operation.

· It features an internal sample-and-hold function and TRI-STATE outputs.

· Designed for minimal external components, it includes input biasing for optional a.c. input signal coupling.

· It operates over an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is fabricated on a 0.35-micron CMOS process.

FEATURES

· Low input capacitance and power consumption (40mW typ).

· Ensures no missing codes and offers a power-down feature reducing consumption to less than 7mW.

· Achieves 7.2 Effective Bits with a 4.4MHz input and 42MHz clock frequency.

· Resistant to latch-up and features short-circuit proof outputs.
