DESCRIPTION

· The ADIS16485 iSensor® is a complete inertial system integrating a triaxial gyroscope and accelerometer, optimized for dynamic performance with factory calibration for sensitivity, bias, alignment, and linear acceleration.

· It offers a cost-effective solution for accurate, multiaxis inertial sensing in industrial systems, reducing system integration time with pre-calibrated sensors.

· The device features a simple SPI interface for data collection and configuration, and shares the same footprint and connector system as the ADIS16375 and ADIS16488A, facilitating upgrades.

· The module dimensions are approximately 47 mm × 44 mm × 14 mm, with a standard connector interface.

FEATURES

· Triaxial digital gyroscope with ±450°/sec dynamic range, ±0.05° orthogonal alignment error, 6°/hr in-run bias stability, and 0.3°/√hr angular random walk.

· Triaxial digital accelerometer with ±5 g range, delta angle, and delta velocity outputs.

· Fast start-up time of ~500 ms, factory calibrated sensitivity, bias, and axial alignment over a temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.

· SPI-compatible serial interface, embedded temperature sensor, and programmable operation and control with automatic and manual bias correction.

· Includes 4 FIR filter banks with 120 configurable taps, digital I/O for data-ready alarm indicator, external clock, and alarms for condition monitoring.

· Features power-down/sleep mode, optional external sample clock input up to 2.4 kHz, single command self-test, and operates on a single supply from 3.0 V to 3.6 V.

· Shock survivability up to 2000 g and operating temperature range from −40°C to +105°C.
