DESCRIPTION

· The ADP1196 is a versatile high-side or low-side load switch designed for VIN operation between 0 V and 5.5 V, with a VB_EN supply range of 1.83 V to 5.5 V.
· It features an internal charge pump that operates from either VIN or VB_EN, whichever is higher, and an ultra-low on-resistance N-channel MOSFET.
· The MOSFET supports over 2 A of continuous current at VIN close to 0 V, with constant on-resistance independent of VIN or VB_EN voltage.
· It includes over-temperature protection activated at 125°C, safeguarding the device and downstream circuits.
· The ADP1196 is compact, occupying less than 1.5 mm² PCB space with a height of 0.60 mm, available in a 1.0 mm × 1.5 mm, 6-ball, 0.5 mm pitch WLCSP.
