DESCRIPTION

· The ADPD2212 is an optical sensor designed for biomedical applications, featuring low power consumption and high signal-to-noise ratio.

· It combines an ultralow capacitance deep junction silicon photodiode with a low noise current amplifier, optimized for pulsed excitation with a 400 kHz bandwidth.

· The sensor includes a power-down pin to enhance battery life in portable devices, offering shot noise limited performance for high fidelity signal measurement in low light conditions.

· Signal-to-noise ratio near the shot noise limit, with a typical supply current of 137 µA when active and 1 µA in standby.
