DESCRIPTION

· The ADXRS614 is a complete angular rate sensor (gyroscope) using Analog Devices' surface-micromachining process.

· It integrates all required electronics on a single chip, offering a low-cost solution.

· The device is manufactured using a high-volume BiMOS process, known for high reliability in automotive airbag accelerometers.

· The output signal, RATEOUT, is a voltage proportional to the angular rate about the axis normal to the top surface of the package.

· It includes a temperature output for compensation techniques and digital self-test inputs for operational verification.

· Available in a 7 mm × 7 mm × 3 mm BGA chip scale package.
