DESCRIPTION

· The ADXRS800 is a high-performance angular rate sensor designed for automotive electronic stability control and vehicle rollover detection.
· It features a differential, quad-sensor design that effectively rejects linear acceleration, making it suitable for harsh environments with shock and vibration.
· The sensor includes a continuous self-test architecture to ensure system integrity by generating and analyzing a rate signal.
· It can sense angular rates up to ±300°/sec and outputs data as a 16-bit word within a 32-bit SPI message.
· Available in both cavity plastic SOIC-16 and SMT-compatible vertical mount packages, it operates across a wide voltage (3.3V to 5V) and temperature range (-40°C to +105°C).
