DESCRIPTION

· The AH9479/80/81 is a single-chip solution for driving single-coil brushless DC motors, integrating a motor driver and a high-sensitivity Hall sensor.

· It simplifies PCB design and enables the fabrication of small-size motors.

· The AH9480 features an open-drain tachometer output FG, while the AH9481 has an open-drain rotation detection output RD.

· The IC includes locked rotor protection, auto-restart, and thermal-shutdown protection to prevent overheating and damage.

· Soft-switching technology is used to reduce vibration and acoustic noise.
