DESCRIPTION
· The ATS17501 is a single IC solution for rotational position sensing of ferrous gear targets in automotive and industrial electric motor applications.
· It features a rare-earth magnetic pellet for consistent performance and reliability.
· Three Hall elements create two independent differential channels, processed by digital circuits to eliminate magnetic and system offsets.
· Advanced calibration techniques optimize signal offset and amplitude, ensuring accurate switch points over air gap, speed, and temperature.
· The IC can be programmed for dual-phase gear speed and position signal information or high-resolution gear speed and direction information.
· It supports Fault Detection mode for ASIL B(D) utilization.

· Two independent output channels with options for high-resolution XOR speed, pulse, and direction protocol.
