DESCRIPTION

· The BGA3031 is a DOCSIS 3.0 compliant upstream amplifier for cable modem, CATV set-top box, and VoIP modem applications.

· It operates from 5 MHz to 85 MHz with a 58 dB gain control range in 1 dB increments.

· The device delivers a maximum voltage gain of 34 dB and supports high output power levels with minimal distortion and noise.

· It can transmit 1 to 8 64-QAM and QPSK modulated carriers, meeting DOCSIS 3.0 ACLR specifications under DOCSIS 3.0 + 4 dB conditions.

· The BGA3031 operates on a 5 V supply and features a 3-wire serial interface for gain control and current consumption adjustment.

· It is housed in a 20-pin 5 mm × 5 mm leadless HVQFN package.
