DESCRIPTION

· CAPZero™ blocks current flow in X capacitor safety discharge resistors when AC voltage is applied, reducing power loss to less than 5 mW at 230 VAC.
· Automatically discharges X capacitors through discharge resistors when AC voltage is disconnected.
· Simplifies EMI filter design by allowing larger X capacitors without increasing power consumption.
· Two-terminal design meets safety standards for use before or after system input fuse.
· Self-supplied with no external bias required.
