DESCRIPTION

· CAPZero™ is an IC designed for automatic X capacitor discharge in AC/DC converters.
· It blocks current through X capacitor discharge resistors when AC voltage is connected, reducing power loss to less than 5 mW.
· Automatically discharges X capacitors through discharge resistors when AC is disconnected.
· Simplifies EMI filter design by allowing larger X capacitors with no change in power consumption.
· Meets safety standards for use before or after system input fuse with only two terminals.
