DESCRIPTION

· CBTL08GP053 is a USB Type-C High Performance Crossbar Switch IC designed for high-speed passive switching in Type-C connector interfaces.

· It supports switching of high-speed differential signals for standards like USB3.1, DP1.3, and PCIe 3.0, as well as single-ended signals over Type-C.

· The IC includes sideband switching for AUX and dedicated signals via SBU1 and SBU2, and features an I2C-bus interface for control and configuration.

· It operates from a single power supply VDD and is suitable for various platforms and PC accessories, available in a compact VFBGA40 package.



FEATURES

· Supports interface standards including USB3.1, DP1.3, DP++, and PCIe 3.0 with signaling rates up to 10 Gbps.

· Features multiplexing or switching of high-speed differential or single-ended signals with direction-agnostic switches.

· Utilizes patented high-performance switch technology with specifications like 1.4 V differential signaling, 1.8 V single-ended rail-to-rail signaling, and low Ron of 7 Ω.

· Offers low insertion loss, high isolation, low crosstalk, and return loss across various frequencies, with minimal intra-pair skew and propagation delay.
