DESCRIPTION

· The CD40109 is a level-shifting circuit that does not require the high-voltage supply (VDD) to be present before applying the low-voltage supply (VCC) or input signals.
· It allows flexible sequencing of VDD, VCC, and input signals without restrictions.
· The device can operate with VCC exceeding VDD, enabling high-to-low level-shifting functionality.

FEATURES

· No restrictions on the sequence of applying VDD, VCC, or input signals.
· Input signals can swing between VSS and at least 0.7VCC, and may exceed VCC and VDD within maximum ratings.
· Available in various 16-lead packages: ceramic dual-in-line (F3A), plastic dual-in-line (E), small-outline (NSR), and thin shrink small-outline (PW, PWR).
· Output voltage range: -0.5V to VDD +0.5V.
