DESCRIPTION
· The CYP(V)15G0403DXB Independent Clock Quad HOTLink II™ Transceiver is a high-speed communication building block for point-to-point or point-to-multi-point data transfer over optical fiber, balanced, and unbalanced copper transmission lines.
· It supports signaling rates from 195 to 1500 MBaud per serial link, with each channel operating independently at different rates.
· The device includes four independent byte-wide channels for transmitting and receiving data, with integrated 8B/10B encoding and decoding for improved serial transmission characteristics.
FEATURES
· Compliant with multiple standards including ESCON, DVB-ASI, SMPTE-292M, SMPTE-259M, Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet (IEEE802.3z), CPRI™, and OBSAI-RP3.
· Quad channel transceiver with an aggregate throughput of up to 12 Gbits/second.
· Truly independent channels allowing different signaling rates and data types per channel.
· Internal phase-locked loops (PLLs) with no external components required.
· Dual differential PECL-compatible serial inputs and outputs per channel, source matched for 50 Ω transmission lines.
· MultiFrame™ Receive Framer for alignment options including bit and byte alignment, Comma or Full K28.5 detect, and low-latency option.
· Built-In Self-Test (BIST) for at-speed link testing and per-channel Link Quality Indicator.
· Low-power operation at 3W @ 3.3V typical, with a single 3.3V supply.
· 256-ball thermally enhanced BGA package with Pb-Free option available.
