DESCRIPTION

· The SMSC EMC6D103S is a fan control device with high-frequency PWM support and hardware monitoring features, operating at 3.3V with 5V tolerant input buffers.

FEATURES

· SMBus 2.0 compliant interface with three slave address options.

· Three PWM outputs and four fan tachometer inputs for fan control.

· Programmable automatic fan control based on temperature, supporting high-frequency 4-wire fans.

· Temperature monitoring of two remote thermal diodes with ±3°C accuracy and internal ambient temperature measurement.

· Voltage monitoring of VCC and VCCP with limit comparison and interrupt pin for out-of-limit indications.
