DESCRIPTION

· The FAN4010 is a high-side current sense amplifier for battery-powered systems.

· It monitors high-side power lines without interfering with the battery charger's ground path.

· Designed for portable PCs, cellular phones, and other portable systems.

· Uses an external sense resistor to set the load current range.

· Converts current output to ground-referred voltage with a single resistor.

· Suitable for gas gauging and uni-directional or bi-directional current monitoring.
