DESCRIPTION

· FAN7710V and FAN7710VL are ballast control ICs for compact fluorescent lamps, utilizing Fairchild's high-voltage process and SiP concept.

· They feature a preheating/ignition function controlled by an external capacitor to enhance lamp life.

· FAN7710V includes an internal active ZVS control for detecting switch operation post-ignition, preventing MOSFET stress without external circuitry.

· Both ICs have a high-side driver with a common-mode noise cancellation circuit for robust operation against noise.

FEATURES

· Integrated Half-Bridge MOSFET.

· Floating channel for bootstrap operation up to +440V.

· Low startup and operating currents of 120 μA and 2.6mA respectively.

· Under-voltage lockout with 1.8V hysteresis.
