DESCRIPTION

· The FAN7711 is a ballast control IC designed for fluorescent lamps, utilizing Fairchild's high-voltage process.

· It includes a preheating/ignition function to enhance lamp longevity, controlled by an external capacitor.

· Features an internal active Zero-Voltage Switching (ZVS) control for detecting open-lamp conditions and reducing MOSFET stress.

· Equipped with a high-side driver that includes a common-mode noise cancellation circuit for reliable operation against noise.
