DESCRIPTION

· The FAN7711 is a ballast control IC designed for fluorescent lamps, utilizing Fairchild's high-voltage process.

· It features a preheating/ignition function controlled by an external capacitor to enhance lamp lifespan.

· The IC includes an internal active Zero-Voltage Switching (ZVS) control circuit to detect open-lamp conditions and reduce MOSFET stress.

· It also incorporates a high-side driver with a common-mode noise cancellation circuit for robust operation against high-dv/dt noise.
