DESCRIPTION

· The FAN9673 is a three-channel interleaved Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) Power Factor Correction (PFC) controller designed for PFC pre-regulators.

· It incorporates circuits for leading edge, average current, and boost-type PFC, ensuring compliance with IEC1000-3-2 specifications.

· Interleaved operation reduces input and output ripple currents, simplifying and reducing the cost of EMI filtering.

· Features a channel management function for smooth loading and unloading of slave channels, improving load transient response.

· Includes various protection functions such as peak current limiting, input voltage brownout protection, and TriFault Detect.
