DESCRIPTION

· The FIN24AC µSerDes™ is a low-power Serializer/Deserializer designed to reduce the cost and power of transferring wide signal paths through serialization.

· It supports bi-directional operation with signal reduction up to 10:1 using half duplex for multiple sources.

· Differential signaling minimizes shielding and EMI filters, enhancing noise resistance.

· A unique word boundary technique ensures correct data alignment during deserialization.

· Suitable for applications requiring minimal battery impact and cost-effective signal transfer.

FEATURES

· Low power consumption with multiple power-down modes and AC coupling with DC balance.

· Standby mode at 100nA and typical operating conditions at 5mA.

· Cable reduction ratios of 25:4 or greater for unidirectional and 50:7 or greater for bi-directional operation.

· Differential signaling reduces EMI to -90dBm under lab conditions.

· Supports up to 22 bits in either direction and operates at up to 20MHz parallel interface.

· Voltage translation from 1.65V to 3.6V and high ESD protection >8kV HBM.

· Available in ultra-small, cost-effective BGA and MLP packages.
