DESCRIPTION

· The ICM7555 is a CMOS timer offering enhanced performance over the NE/SE555, serving as a direct replacement in most applications.
· It features low supply current, wide operating voltage range, and improved frequency performance without the need for CONTROL_VOLTAGE decoupling.
· Capable of precise time delays or frequencies, it operates in both one-shot and astable modes with external resistors and capacitors.
· The output can drive TTL or CMOS loads effectively.



FEATURES

· Direct replacement for NE/SE555 in most applications.
· Low supply current: 80 µA typical.
· Extremely low trigger, threshold, and reset currents: 20 pA typical.
· High-speed operation up to 500 kHz.
· Wide operating voltage range from 3 V to 16 V.
· No crowbarring of supply during output transitions.
· Suitable for use with higher-impedance timing elements.
· Timing capabilities from microseconds to hours.
· Adjustable duty cycle in astable mode.
