DESCRIPTION



· The L6460 is a highly integrated multi-motor driver designed for controlling and driving various motor systems.

· It offers a unique combination of control, power, and auxiliary features, making it suitable for diverse motor architectures.

· The device supports simultaneous driving of stepper and DC motors, making it ideal for multi-motor applications.

· It includes integrated features such as voltage regulators, a high-precision A/D converter, operational amplifiers, and voltage comparators.



FEATURES



· Operating supply voltage range: 13 V to 38 V.

· Configurable 4 full bridge drivers for multi-motor applications, supporting 2 DC and 1 stepper motor or 4 DC motors.

· Bridge 1 and 2 (RDSon = 0.60 Ω) configurable as dual full bridge, super DC driver, half bridge, or power switches.

· Bridge 3 and 4 (RDSon = 0.85 Ω) configurable for stepper motor driving (up to 1/16 microstepping), buck regulators, or battery charging.

· Power supply management with switching buck regulator, switching regulator controller, linear regulator, and battery charger.

· Comprehensive protection features including thermal warning/shutdown, overcurrent protection, and undervoltage lock-out.

· SPI interface, programmable watchdog, and integrated power sequencing with fault signaling.

· Low power dissipation in shutdown mode (~35 mW).

· Auxiliary features: 9-bit ADC, 2 operational amplifiers, digital comparator, 2 low voltage power switches, 3 PWM generators, and 14 GPIOs.
