· The LM2596 is a monolithic integrated circuit designed for step-down switching regulator (buck converter) applications.
· It supports a 3.0 A load with excellent line and load regulation.
· Available in adjustable output versions, it minimizes external components for simplified power supply design.
· Operates at a 150 kHz switching frequency, allowing for smaller filter components.
· Comes in TO-220 and D2PAK packages.
