DESCRIPTION

· The LTC4281 is a hot swap controller with I2C compatible monitoring, enabling safe insertion and removal of a board from a live backplane.
· It utilizes an external N-channel pass transistor to control board supply voltage and inrush current at an adjustable rate.
· Features an I2C interface and onboard ADC for monitoring current, voltage, power, energy, and fault status.
· Designed for high power applications with a wide input voltage range from 2.9V to 33V.
