DESCRIPTION

· The LTC6993 is a monostable multivibrator (one-shot pulse generator) with a programmable pulse width ranging from 1µs to 33.6 seconds. It is part of the TimerBlox family of silicon timing devices.

· The pulse width is determined by an internal master oscillator and a programmable clock divider (NDIV), which can be set to eight different values from 1 to 221.

· The output pulse is initiated by a transition on the trigger input (TRIG), and the device can be configured to generate either positive or negative output pulses.

· The LTC6993 is available in four versions, differing in trigger signal polarity and retrigger capability.

FEATURES

· Pulse width max error: <2.3% for >512µs, <3.4% for 8µs to 512µs, <4.9% for 1µs to 8µs.

· Fast recovery time, 2.25V to 5.5V single supply operation, 70µA supply current at 10µs pulse width.

· CMOS output driver sources/sinks 20mA, operates from –55°C to 125°C.

· Available in SOT-23 and DFN packages, AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
