DESCRIPTION



· The M74HC109 is a high-speed CMOS dual J-K flip-flop with preset and clear, fabricated using silicon gate C2MOS technology.

· It changes state on the positive-going transition of the clock pulse based on the logic level of the J and K inputs.

· Clear and preset functions are independent of the clock and are activated by a logic low on the corresponding input.

· All inputs are protected against static discharge and transient excess voltage.



FEATURES



· High speed: fMAX = 67MHz (typical) at VCC = 6V.

· Low power dissipation: ICC = 2µA (max) at TA = 25°C.

· High noise immunity: VNIH = VNIL = 28% VCC (min).

· Symmetrical output impedance: |IOH| = IOL = 4mA (min).

· Balanced propagation delays: tPLH ≅ tPHL.

· Wide operating voltage range: VCC (OPR) = 2V to 6V.

· Pin and function compatible with 74 series 109.
