DESCRIPTION

· The M74HC237 is a high-speed CMOS 3-to-8 line decoder fabricated with silicon gate C2MOS technology.

· It features latch functionality where the address at select inputs (A, B, C) is stored when GL transitions from low to high.

· Outputs are controlled independently by G1 and G2, with all outputs remaining low unless G1 is high and G2 is low.

· Designed for glitch-free decoder applications in bus-oriented systems, it includes protection against static discharge and transient excess voltage.

· High-speed operation with a typical propagation delay of 16ns at 6V.

· Low power consumption, max 4µA at 25°C.

· High noise immunity with VNIH and VNIL at 28% of VCC minimum.
