DESCRIPTION

· The M74HC4028 is a high-speed CMOS BCD to Decimal Decoder, utilizing silicon-gate C2MOS technology.

· It converts a BCD code applied to its four inputs (A to D) into a high level at the corresponding decimal output.

· Illegal BCD codes (eleven to fifteen) result in a low level at all outputs.

· Can function as a 3 to 8 line decoder when the D input is used as a disable input.

· Features protection circuits against static discharge and transient excess voltage on all inputs.

· High-speed operation with a typical propagation delay of 20ns at 6V.

· Low power consumption, with a maximum current of 4µA at 25°C.

· High noise immunity, with minimum noise margins of 28% of VCC.

· Symmetrical output impedance with a minimum of 4mA.
