Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The M74HC76 is a high-speed CMOS dual J-K flip-flop with clear, fabricated using silicon gate C2MOS technology.

· It changes state on the negative-going transition of the clock pulse (CK) based on the logic level at J and K inputs.

· Clear (CLR) and Preset (PR) are independent of the clock and are activated by a logic low on the corresponding input.

· All inputs are protected against static discharge and transient excess voltage.



FEATURES

· High speed with fMAX = 67MHz (typical) at VCC = 6V.

· Low power dissipation with ICC = 2µA (max) at TA = 25°C.

· High noise immunity with VNIH = VNIL = 28% VCC (min).

· Symmetrical output impedance with |IOH| = IOL = 4mA (min).

· Balanced propagation delays with tPLH ≅ tPHL.

· Wide operating voltage range from VCC (OPR) = 2V to 6V.

· Pin and function compatible with 74 series.
