DESCRIPTION

· The MAX17043/MAX17044 are ultra-compact, low-cost fuel-gauge systems for Li+ batteries in portable devices.

· MAX17043 operates with a single Li+ cell, while MAX17044 is designed for dual-cell 2S packs.

· Utilizes ModelGauge™ technology for accurate SOC tracking without battery relearn cycles or external current-sense resistors.

· Supports temperature compensation with minimal microcontroller interaction.

· Data accessed via I2C interface; available in 9-bump UCSP or 8-pin TDFN packages.
