DESCRIPTION

· The MAX202E-MAX213E, MAX232E, and MAX241E are RS-232 and V.28 transceivers with ±15kV ESD protection and integrated charge pump for single +5V operation.

· They meet EIA/TIA-232E and CCITT V.28 specifications up to 120kbps.

· Available in various packages: 28-pin SO/SSOP, 16-pin TSSOP/SO/DIP, 20-pin DIP/SO, and 24-pin DIP.

FEATURES

· Integrated ±15kV ESD HBM protection.

· Integrated charge pump eliminates need for ±12V supply, enabling +5V operation.

· Integrated 0.1μF capacitors in MAX203E and MAX205E.

· 24-pin SSOP package saves up to 40% space compared to SO package.

· Low power consumption with 1μA and 15μA shutdown modes.
