DESCRIPTION

· The MAX6668/MAX6670 are remote-junction thermal switches with an integrated fan driver for cooling fans up to +12V and 250mA.
· They measure external P-N junction temperature and activate the fan when the temperature exceeds a factory-set threshold.
· The MAX6670 includes WARN and OT outputs for temperature warnings and over-temperature alerts.
· Both devices feature a FORCEON input for external fan control.
· Available in 8-pin (MAX6668) and 10-pin (MAX6670) µMAX packages.
