DESCRIPTION

· The MAX9257A and MAX9258A form a complete digital video serial link with programmable features.

· They include an integrated control channel for bidirectional data transfer, eliminating the need for external CAN or LIN interfaces.

· The MAX9257A serializes data from 10 to 18 bits, adding encoding bits for AC-coupling.

· The MAX9258A deserializes up to 20 bits per pixel/parallel clock period, supporting a maximum serial-data rate of 840Mbps.

· The devices operate from a +3.3V core supply and are available in 40-lead TQFN or 48-pin LQFP packages.
