DESCRIPTION

· The MAX9257A and MAX9258A form a complete digital video serial link with programmable features.

· They support bidirectional data transfer over the same differential pair used for video data, eliminating the need for external interfaces.

· The MAX9257A serializes data from 10 to 18 bits, while the MAX9258A deserializes up to 20 bits per pixel/parallel clock period.

· The devices operate from a +3.3V core supply and are available in 40-lead TQFN or 48-pin LQFP packages.
