DESCRIPTION

· The MAX9263/MAX9264 chipset extends Maxim’s GMSL technology to include HDCP encryption for video and audio data.
· It supports a pixel clock up to 104MHz and I2S audio with sampling frequencies up to 192kHz and 32-bit depth.
· Features a full-duplex UART link (9.6kbps to 1Mbps) for control data transmission.
· Operates with a 1.8V core supply for the serializer and 3.3V for the deserializer, with I/O supply ranging from 1.8V to 3.3V.
· Available in a 64-pin TQFP package, suitable for automotive applications (-40°C to +105°C).

FEATURES

· Supports HDCP video applications up to XGA (1280 x 768) or dual-view WVGA (2x 854 x 480).
· Pre/Deemphasis and equalization enable 15m cable operation at full speed.
· Serial-bit rate up to 3.12Gbps with a pixel clock range of 6.25MHz to 104MHz.
· Programmable spread spectrum reduces EMI, and bypassable input PLL attenuates jitter.
· Built-in PRBS tester for BER testing and interrupt transmission from deserializer to serializer.
