DESCRIPTION

· The MAX9725A–MAX9725D are fixed-gain stereo headphone amplifiers designed for portable equipment with limited board space.

· The MAX9725E allows gain adjustment using external resistors.

· DirectDrive architecture eliminates the need for DC-blocking capacitors, reducing cost and board space.

· Fixed gains range from -2V/V to -4V/V, minimizing external components.

· Operates from a single 0.9V to 1.8V supply, suitable for single-cell AA or AAA batteries.

· Delivers up to 20mW per channel into a 32Ω load with 0.006% THD+N.

· Features include 80dB PSRR, ±8kV ESD protection, and click-and-pop suppression.

· Available in compact 12-bump UCSP and 12-pin thin QFN packages.
