DESCRIPTION
· The MC34676 is a dual 28 V input voltage, fully-integrated single cell Li-Ion battery charger designed for smart handheld applications.
· It features two 28 V power devices, eliminating the need for external power source selection and input over-voltage protection circuitry.
· The charger supports both USB port and AC/DC adapter power sources, with programmable charge currents up to 1.2 A and 400 mA respectively.
· It includes a 4.85 V regulator for powering subsystems directly and offers precise current and voltage control with thermal feedback for charge current limitation.
