DESCRIPTION



· The MC92604 is a dual Gigabit Ethernet transceiver operating at 1.25 giga-baud, supporting full-duplex communication.

· It functions as a dual-channel SerDes or a dual GMII/TBI PHY for 1000Base-X Ethernet applications.

· The device is compatible with IEEE Std. 802.3-2002 and includes MDIO interface support.

· It features transmit FIFOs, source-synchronous transmit clocks, and IEEE Std 1149.1 JTAG boundary scan for board testing.

· The MC92604 is designed for low power consumption and is housed in a 196-pin JEDEC standard package.

· Supports serial link redundancy in single-channel mode.
