DESCRIPTION
· The MLX91217 is a monolithic Hall-effect sensor sensitive to orthogonal magnetic flux density on the IC surface.
· It provides an analog output voltage proportional to the applied magnetic flux density.
· The sensor's transfer characteristic is factory-trimmed and programmable during end-of-line calibration.
· It features a 250kHz bandwidth and fast response time, making it suitable for high-speed applications like inverters and converters.
· Typically used with a ring-shaped soft ferromagnetic core to concentrate and amplify magnetic flux while attenuating external disturbances.
FEATURES
· End-of-line programmable sensor with selectable analog ratiometric output.
· Measurement range from ±15 to ±45mT with DC to 250kHz bandwidth.
· Short response time of 2µs and high linearity down to ±0.2% full scale.
· Low thermal drift with offset drift <5mV and sensitivity drift <1%.
· Programmable output clamping levels and broken wire detection.
· AEC-Q100 Grade 0 automotive qualified and RoHS compliant in SIP4-VA package.
