DESCRIPTION

· The MM74HC123A is a high-speed dual retriggerable monostable multivibrator utilizing advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology.

· It combines the speed of low-power Schottky TTL with the low power consumption and high noise immunity of CMOS.

· Each multivibrator features both negative (A) and positive (B) transition-triggered inputs, which can also function as inhibit inputs.

· Includes a clear input that resets the one-shot when taken low.

· Retriggerable, allowing pulse extension during output pulse generation.

· Pulse width stability is maintained across a wide temperature and supply range using linear CMOS techniques.

· Output pulse width is determined by the formula: PW = (REXT) (CEXT).

· All inputs are protected from static discharge damage with diodes to VCC and ground.
