DESCRIPTION

· The MPXY8000 series is an 8-pin tire monitoring sensor with integrated pressure and temperature sensing elements.
· It features a variable capacitance pressure sensor, a temperature sensor, and an interface circuit with wake-up functionality.
· Designed for low power consumption in tire pressure monitoring systems, it can integrate with Freescale's RKE system.
· The sensor is housed in a Super-Small Outline Package (SSOP) with media protection filter.

FEATURES

· Capacitive pressure transducer and diffused resistor temperature sensor integrated on a single CMOS die.
· Includes a switched capacitor amplifier with adjustable offset and gain, factory calibrated via EEPROM.
· Temperature compensation for sensitivity and offset, also adjusted via EEPROM.
· Features a voltage comparator for pressure monitoring and a digital output for temperature.
· Equipped with a low-frequency oscillator for periodic wake-up pulses and a divider for MCU reset signals.
· Multiple operational modes for controlled power consumption.
