DESCRIPTION

· The NCV68061 is a Reverse Polarity Protection and Ideal Diode NMOS Controller designed to replace power rectifier diodes with lower loss and forward voltage.

· It operates with an N-channel MOSFET for reduced power loss.

· Controls the ON/OFF state of an external NMOS based on the Source to Drain voltage polarity.

· Configurable in two modes: Ideal Diode mode (Drain connected to load) and Reverse Polarity Protection mode (Drain connected to ground).

· Operating Voltage Range: up to 32 V.

· Immune to 60 V Load Dump Pulse and -40 V Negative Transient.

· Ideal Diode Function: Protects against reverse current flow (from Output to Input).
