DESCRIPTION
· NJM3770A is a stepper motor driver with LS-TTL compatible logic input stage, current sensor, monostable multivibrator, and high power H-bridge output stage.
· It is a high-power version and pin-compatible with NJM3717.
· Two NJM3770A units and a few external components form a complete control and drive unit for stepper motor systems.
FEATURES
· Supports half-step and full-step operation.
· Utilizes switched mode bipolar constant current drive.
· Offers a wide range of current control from 5 to 1800 mA.
· Operates within a wide voltage range of 10 to 45 V.
· Includes thermal overload protection.
· Available in DIP16 (Batwing), PLCC28, and EMP20 packages.
