DESCRIPTION

· The OPT3005 is a visible light intensity sensor with a spectral response closely matching the human eye's photopic response.

· It features extreme rejection of 850nm and 940nm infrared light, ensuring accurate light measurement under various conditions.

· Designed for systems creating human-centric light experiences, it replaces less accurate photodiodes and photoresistors.

· It measures light intensity from 20mlux to 166klux without manual range selection, offering a 23-bit effective dynamic range.

FEATURES

· Precision optical filtering matches human eye response, rejecting over 99.99% of NIR light.

· Automatic full-scale light range selection with excellent gain matching between ranges.

· Low operating current of 1.8 µA and wide power-supply range from 1.6 V to 3.6 V.
